Mario has 18 years of experience in NPLs and RE industry; he sponsored Celtic AM buyout together with Giacomo Sonzini in late 2018.
Since 2014, he worked at Kervis Asset Management (Italian operating partner of mid/large US PE funds) as Head of Real Estate-backed Special Situations and NPLs (from 2016) and Real Estate Acquisition Director (2014-2015).
He focused on single names and portfolios (distressed loans and real estate), having underwritten transactions in excess of €7Bn, of which closed and managed c. €2Bn.
Before Kervis, he served at GE Capital (Real Estate & NPLs), Bain & Company (Debt Restructuring) and Pirelli RE becoming Head of Acquisitions NPLs & Industrial RE (2003-’09); career started at E&Y Corporate Finance.
